You Know This - Summer Camp Palooza Part 3

What better way to end my three weeks of Summer Camp Palooza then in the hospital!

On the last day of Beach Camp, Nikki decided to do her impression of a whale by diving head first into two-foot-deep water. Besides scalping herself and creating a bald spot the size of a quarter on the top of her head, she also jammed her neck pretty badly. We ended up taking an ambulance ride to the hospital where we spent a good 5 hours getting her x-rays, urine samples, and plenty of awkward moments with the hospital employees. But the best part of all...definitely Nikki's turquoise one piece bathing suit!

My favorite Nikki quote came when the not-so-ugly EMTs were strapping her to the board and getting ready to carry her to the ambulance. She looked up at them and said, "Hey guys, sorry about the one piece!" Good work Nikki Lalague! I'm sorry that you had to endure so much pain, but thank you for being such a good sport. You're the best!
