So, with all this in mind, I decided to exercise my photoshopping skills and create this...

When I woke up this morning there was a strange smell in my bathroom. Not a bad smell, just an unfamiliar smell. The annoying thing is that I can't figure out what the scent is. Perhaps some sort of a spice. I searched and searched for the culprit, but still have no idea...

For the record, I hate the bouquet toss and usually "have to restroom" during that part of weddings. But it was my sister's wedding, so I put myself out there, played the game, and got humiliated (although I did catch it!). And there is no better way to bask in your humiliation than to share it publicly. You're welcome.

You Know This - Blonde Villains

So, I know all of these teen bop movies are trying to build up the self-esteem of the youth-culture today. But in the meantime, they are creating another stigmatism that I am not a huge fan of. Really, do all of the villains have to be little blonde girls?

I would just like to point out that I have never kept a journal about all of the gossip at my school (Mean Girls), wished for a fellow gymnast to hurt herself (Stick It), thrown dog food on the nerds at a school dance (Never Been Kissed), crashed a slumber party to make another girl look bad (Sleepover), bribed the student body to make me class president (Napoleon Dynamite), asked my mom to ruin another family so that I could win a contest (Hairspray), robbed a bank (Sugar and Spice), thrown my step sister’s favorite book into a fire (Ever After), stolen my best friends ideas to get promoted at work (13 Going on 30), left my husband for his more successful best friend (Talladega Nights), got with my sister’s boyfriend (The Wedding Date), or used my fame to get my way (Just Friends).

So please Hollywood, let’s pick on someone else for a while.

Another one bites the dust! This weekend, my roommate Kim and her boyfriend Matt got engaged! So exciting...yet not so surprising.

This has become my role in life - to marry off my roommates. Here is a quick list...

You Know This - Summer Camp Palooza Part 3

What better way to end my three weeks of Summer Camp Palooza then in the hospital!

On the last day of Beach Camp, Nikki decided to do her impression of a whale by diving head first into two-foot-deep water. Besides scalping herself and creating a bald spot the size of a quarter on the top of her head, she also jammed her neck pretty badly. We ended up taking an ambulance ride to the hospital where we spent a good 5 hours getting her x-rays, urine samples, and plenty of awkward moments with the hospital employees. But the best part of all...definitely Nikki's turquoise one piece bathing suit!

My favorite Nikki quote came when the not-so-ugly EMTs were strapping her to the board and getting ready to carry her to the ambulance. She looked up at them and said, "Hey guys, sorry about the one piece!" Good work Nikki Lalague! I'm sorry that you had to endure so much pain, but thank you for being such a good sport. You're the best!

You Know This - Summer Camp Palooza Part 2

Another week of camp under my belt and seven new memories to share. Here's what I loved about HSM Camp:

Painting rocks cause we were too cheap to pay for any of the real craft activities.

Watching students do the ridiculous things that I suggest.

Hanging out with Zachary...and apparently Kevin too!

Meeting Samuel L. Jackson.

Making new friends.

Watching high school students fall in love with Jesus on the beach.

Great work Camp Ojai! Now for round three of Campapalooza...I'm off to Beach Camp!
