No, I don't mean my super-hectic-crazy-busy season at work.

As much fun as it was to watch each of their mustaches evolve throughout the week,
and as much fun as it was to watch complete strangers give overly-judgmental looks to my friends,
and as much fun as it was to try and lock eyes as to avoidat the 'stache,
I am so glad it's over!

Although, I did take great delight in participating...

Tonight, Phil ate Taco Bell for the first time ever! So strange having these foreigners around who have never tried such token places. Anyway, here is the first thing he said after biting into his meal (read with a British accent)...

Nikki and I were both feeling sick today, so we went to the drugstore to buy some medicine. While there, we fell upon some timeless treasures. Unable to pass up such a beautiful opportunity, we spent the $7.99 to take them with us and call them our own. And now, for your viewing pleasure...

That's right, we bought these beautiful Christmas sweatshirts! Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but very practical as well - being that we both had chills from our cold symptoms.

If you are lucky, you just might catch me on a good day and be able to view this fantastic spectacle for yourself!

You Know This - A Fullerton Miracle

So, Zack and I were driving back to Orange County from the City of Industry when we decided to stop in Fullerton for lunch. As we were exiting the freeway, I decided to call David Hughes - who attends Cal State Fullerton - to see if he would be able to eat with us. Here was the conversation...

• DH - Hello?
• Me - Hey, what are you doing right now?
• DH - Oh, just crossing Nutwood Avenue to walk back to my apartment. What are you doing?
• Me - Driving down Nutwood.
  
• DH - That's weird.
• Me - I think I see you! Are you wearing a white shirt and jeans?
• DH - (looking down at himself) Yes...
• Me - Did you just look at yourself?
• DH - Yes...

So, Zack and I pulled up, David jumped in the car, and we took him out to lunch!

You Know This - Missing My Friends

Today I have been having a really hard time dealing with the fact that three of my good friends have moved away over the last few months. Within the first 20 minutes of work I had already cried 5 times. It's not that they are gone - I'm really good at keeping friends who live far away. It's not that I am alone - I still have tons of really great people all around me. It is simply the fact that life was so much easier with them here. I didn't have to try at being their friend. I didn't have to explain myself. I didn't have to put on a happy face at all times. I didn't have to do anything but just be in their presence.

And now I am in a different stage of life. Now I have to put forth some effort toward building new friendships. I am very excited to see what God is going to do in this stage of life, but to be completely honest, I am also very terrified.
